Wristwatches made in Germany – the recipe for success of the family-owned business POINTtec with its brands ZEPPELIN, IRON ANNIE and bauhaus for over 30 years. The design of the watches is inspired by the legendary design school of the Dessau Bauhaus with its reduced, modern design language, but two brands are also inspired by the German pioneers of aviation: the famous corrugated iron aircraft Ju52 – nicknamed "Iron Annie" and the majestic airships of Graf Zeppelin, which made luxurious airtravel possible for the first time. All watches of the POINTtec brands ZEPPELIN, IRON ANNIE and Bauhaus are "Made in Germany", are developed in Ismaning near Munich and mostly manufactured in the company's own Bauhaus-building in Ruhla, Thuringia, by highly qualified personnel.

POINTtec uses first-class, reliable suppliers who also provide well-known manufacturers of luxury watches with components. The range of models extends from quartz watches with a Swiss quality movements, mechanical chronographs that feature a vertical clutch up to Valjoux chronometers, which meet the particularly strict requirements of the "Sternwarte Glashütte" certificate. The principle of the founder and owner of POINTtec, Mr. Willi Birk, is to always offer the customer watches of the highest quality at the best possible price / performance ratio. This philosophy over the years has made POINTtec one of the largest manufacturers of wristwatches in Germany.

Sustainability

Zeppelin's Sustainable Planet watches have dials made of plastic for which no fossil raw materials were used, but castor oil extracted from the seeds of the castor plant, also called the miracle tree.

This is the plant that grows on the material. Dials made of pure bio-plastic are used for the solar watch, as they must allow enough light to pass through.
