FOUNDED IN VIENNA

The production of artistic fire-enamel jewellery is the core of FREYWILLE. A very limited production in its manufactory at the original address in the center of Vienna, where the company was founded in 1951, guarantees the highest quality standards in design and fabrication.

The original FREYWILLE style - a unique take on enamel ornamentation and high quality fire enameling technique - was first created in the 1980´s by a team of young designers, goldsmiths and experts of fine enameling. The key person in the creation of this new design chapter, Simone Grünberger-Wille, remains a central figure in FREYWILLE´s daily business.

CEO FRIEDRICH WILLE and SIMONE GRÜNBERGER WILLE, a married couple deeply committed to art and inspired by all aspects of creativity, set new standards both in design and technique of artistic enamel jewellery and spread the FREYWILLE spirit all over the world, with Europe remaining the core of their humanistic and philosophical ideas.

FREYWILLE in 100% privately owned and currently operates more than 50 boutiques worldwide with more than 300 employees in over 20 countries covering four continents.

CREATIVE WORK & INSPIRATION

Inspired by the creative energy of life and the paintings of the big master, we have created a new category in jewellry. FREYWILLE combines world-known art and the fashionable elegance of timeless jewellry pieces.
At FREYWILLE, the creation of a collection starts with a careful examination of a new creative topic. Through many hand-drawings, a final fire-enamel art piece is established, interpreting the original idea in a completely new way. It is a creative process that requires time and an open attitude towards innovation. Our artists, goldsmiths and enamel specialists incorporate their knowledge and creativity into every single step of the production.

Art Historical research and numerous sketches line the path from the moment of inspiration to the finished product, which is why the development of a collection can take as long as two years.

There are two elements in particular that are at the heart of the work done by our artists at FREYWILLE: a love for the fine art world and a passion for design. Many of our carefully curated collections pay homage to famous artists and our interpretations are always unique. Other collections are always unique. Other collections are rooted in humanist philosophy. Pieces of jewellry thus created carry the message of joyful living and an appreciation of intangible values.

Each collection is different to the other, but all FREYWILLE collections carry one common element: an enthusiasm for pure art.
